Wish you could spend less time coding and more time designing?

If your web design biz is flip-flopping between feast and famine, you know something’s got to give. Writing code is stressing you out, pulling you away from design, and wreaking havoc on new projects when old clients discover bugs that need fixing.
You’ve considered working with a developer but it’s a chicken-and-egg problem: you can’t take on more projects as long as you’re doing everything yourself, but you can’t hire a developer until you have more projects.
And outsourcing to one of the PSD slicing services isn’t an option. You need impecable code and rock-solid reliability, not a blow to your credibility, schedule, and profitability.

Do more of your "great work"

What if you could hire an experienced WordPress developer who not only is reliable and trustworthy, but also understands what it takes to run a successful web design business?

What if this person put an end to your current headaches by taking the code off your plate, and prevented future headaches by writing code that keeps your clients’ sites humming along for the long haul?

I want to partner with you

Sarah LewisMy name is Sarah Lewis, and I’ve been developing WordPress themes, plugins, and tools for almost a decade. But I’m also a business owner. I’ve built my company on reliability, hard work, and results. I want to learn about your business, your goals, and what you’d rather be doing than writing code.

I have two big goals for our partnership:

  1. Unleash you from code so you can shine like the talented designer you are
  2. Help you build a strong, stable, reliable web design business

FAQ

Q. “Why should I trust you with my project?”

A. I’ve built my business by meeting deadlines, communicating regularly, and writing excellent code. My clients refer their colleagues to me because they know my track record of showing up and delivering.

Q. “How are you different than a PSD slicing service?”

A. Not only do I craft top-notch code, I craft it with flexibility in mind. You’ll never have the experience of changing one piece of content and discovering the whole theme has fallen apart. The result: delighted clients for the long haul. And you’ll get your wondercode on time.

Q. “What if I don’t have a steady stream of clients yet?”

A. I’d love to help you get them. Partnering with me is more than just outsourcing code. It also means having a sounding board, discovering new design possibilities as web tech evolves, and talking candidly about how to grow your web design business in a sustainable way.

Are we a good fit? →

It's not you, it's us

We might not be a good match if...

I want you to work with the best possible developer for you + your biz. For many designers, I’m the right gal. But there are a few types of designers and projects that don’t fit well with my process:

  1. You have a hard time providing feedback quickly. Sometimes this is a result of committees and protracted approval processes, but I’m at my best when you’re decisive and I can quickly give you results.
  2. You don’t have—or want—systems and processes around what you do. Some designers like to fly by the seat of their pants, all the time. However, being organized and having basic checklists saves us both time and gets us to the finish line smiling.
  3. You hardly make any profit on the sites you design. If you’re looking for—or offering—the lowest price, you won’t like my rate. I don’t work with cheap designers, and they don’t usually want to work with me. But if you’re ready to make an investment in your business (not to mention your happiness), and you want to work with a developer who deeply understands that you need to recoup that investment and then somelet’s talk →.
