Yo, I’m Sarah—the owner of this site (and one of a handful of people who still insist on saying “yo.”)
I’m also a WordPress programmer specializing in building solid themes and plugins for designers who’d rather be designing than coding.
I’ve been building websites since around the time Rick Astley retired from the music scene and Prince changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol. So… let’s just say, “It’s been a while.”
These days, I focus on WordPress development—taking your gorgeous design and turning it into equally gorgeous code, crafting any plugins you might need, and setting everything up so it’s rock-solid.
I should also add I’m a master problem solver. I thrive on untangling complex needs and helping you get exactly what you want.
Of course, I’m not ALL work, work, work.
I like to play, too.
My little four-year-old boy, Benjamin, features prominently in my life—as does his daddy, Daniel. I enjoy immersing myself in a good book, bursting into an impromptu song, or cooking up a hearty feast for the fam.
I don’t watch much TV, but Daniel and I are slowly working our way through Star Trek: Voyager on Netflix. (Yeah, we’re nerds like that.)

- I once completed a marathon (never again). And a triathlon (maybe sometime).
- A few years back, I took my then two-year-old son to Jordan as part of a babysitting gig (it’s a long story). I got to dig at an archaeology site for a couple of days and rode a donkey through the ancient city of Petra—a city carved into sheer red rock face over 2,000 years ago. It was a pretty incredible experience, to say the least.
- I’m occasionally outdoorsy. I spent the whole of one summer building trails, fences, and slash piles in the woods. Yes, really.
At the end of 2011, we moved from Boise, Idaho to San Diego, California, and we’re acclimating nicely to year-round sunshine. If you find yourself in the area, give me a shout—I’ll treat you to coffee, ice cream, or boogie boarding. Your choice.
